Our Ready2Go topics are highly relevant, applicable to any target audience, and easily customizable to your own personal style by adding in stories, anecdotes, and your own experiences.
It may come as a surprise, but communicating with others is the one activity you do more than any other - except for breathing. No doubt there’s plenty of communicating going on in your life. But how effective is it? What results does it get you? Excellent interpersonal communication skills are the most potent career and personal skills you can possess, but just because you have the ability to speak doesn't mean you are effectively speaking, and your ability to hear doesn’t mean you're truly hearing what someone else is saying to you.
In this workshop, your clients will learn powerful
techniques to be better speakers and listeners by discovering more
about: What is it that we are really looking for when we communicate with each other? What gets in the way of our communication and how to overcome it? And what's
essential in all communication interactions?
Conflict. What do you think of when you hear that word? How does conflict make you feel? Conflict is inevitable – it’s a normal aspect of human interaction. Conflict arises from unmet needs, unrecognized differences, and difficulties in coping with life changes and challenges. At the heart of every conflict are two people striving for something better. Conflict will exist as long as people work and live together.
This workshop explores with your participants why we react to conflict the way we do, and provides new perspectives around how we approach conflict and can see it in a more positive light.
What is leadership? Is leadership about accomplishing goals and getting things done or is it about engaging in meaningful relationships and nurturing people’s strengths? Is it about transmitting information and knowledge or is it about managing action and performance? Is leadership about maintaining the status quo or initiating change?
Whether you are leading a company, a department, a team, a family, or your life – you are a leader and you have an impact on others. As a human being, and as a leader, you have natural tendencies and preferences that come from your strengths, your weaknesses, your skills, your experiences, and your needs.
In The Leader’s Journey Workshop, your participants will take their own journey through discovering their unique brand of leadership. They will discover their natural leadership preferences, strengths, and challenges, and will experience the profound impact that they have on others in their life.
When your life comes to an end, what will you have
accomplished? What will be the results of all your daily, weekly,
and yearly efforts? And what about today? Do you see the remainder
of your life as limitless in its potential? Do you feel you have
great, untapped promise? Sadly, most people feel they are capable
of a life far more enriching then the one they are currently living.
So what’s missing? And what steers us away from what we want
and makes us accomplish far less than we had hoped?
Life balance is something that many people strive for and, yet, it seems to elude them. At just the moment when life feels like it’s “in balance,” something happens to throw it off. Some people continue their pursuit of balance; some throw in the towel; and others never bother with life balance in the first place.
Life balance is not a permanent or absolute state. It’s actually a state of mind where you make continuous small adjustments to achieve fulfillment. It is dynamic and elusive.
Even though absolute balance may be impossible, the good news is that you can become aware of where your life is imbalanced and take steps toward improving your balance. You possess the ability to catch your balance or to move toward a state of balance, just like you do when you miss-step or lose your physical balance.
We all experience stress from time to time in our lives, and we know how stress can have a very negative effect on our short and long-term health, performance, career success, and personal happiness. But believe it or not, stress can be eliminated from our lives. We will certainly always continue to experience the pressures of life, but stress isn’t pressure. Instead, stress is how we choose to react to the pressures of life. Fortunately, stress management is a learnable skill. The emphasis of this workshop will be on to explore with your participants the importance of good stress management, and will approach the management of stress through our actions, attitude and emotional responses, and our ways of living and coping with what cannot be resolved.
Every person responds differently to change. Some thrive on it. Others deplore it, doing everything in their power to maintain the status quo. In this workshop, your clients will understand the force behind change, and learn to transition through it and focus on what they can control in an uncertain world.
